Stained Glass (within the frame of a bicycle wheel)

Solarus - Number 1 of 'The Earth Collection'. This stained glass sculpture is made using upcycled/recycled parts of a bicycle and a variety of different textures and shades of amber/yellow stained glass. Each of the 30 pieces of glass were cut out individually by hand, copper-foiled and soldered to the bicycle wheel which was then attached to the fork of a bicycle wheel on a metal post. The post is secured to the stable concrete stand at a height which ensures this sculpture stands above the final height of most garden plants. A stunning individually designed garden sculpture, made by hand in Ripon.

Forest - Number 2 of 'The Earth Collection'. This stained glass sculpture is made using upcycled/recycled parts of a bicycle and a variety of different textures and shades of green/brown stained glass. Each of the 60 pieces of glass were cut out individually by hand, copper-foiled and soldered to the bicycle wheel which was then attached to a bespoke twisted rope hanging. The rope is secured to the wheel with a swivel metal attachment. A stunning individually designed garden sculpture, made by hand in Ripon.
