This group of three apples are an outdoor still-life in three dimensions, the satisfying repetition of the sensual apple form is a celebration of ripe abundance. 

Based in North Yorkshire, I make wire and mesh sculptures of birds, beasts and organic forms for indoor and outdoor settings. My work has been show-cased at Leeds City Craft Centre, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, St Marks Hall, Helmingham Hall (Art For Cure) and Newby Hall Sculpture Trails and the Great Yorkshire Show and other venues and galleries around the country. Previous commissions amongst others have included a herd of sheep (based on his sketches) for the Henry Moore Retrospective at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and a life-size horse for the World Horse Welfare Campaign ‘Invisible Horse’. I work to private commission and run occasional workshops.
